DevOps Engineer

You can work from anywhere you like as well as long as you have an internet connection, our office is located in Slack.

What role will you play?

• Maintain the existing platform developed in Java/Spring Boot and hosted in the Google Cloud Platform.
• Make continuous improvements to the infrastructure to increase the platform’s resilience and scalability.
• Automate the infrastructure using Pulumi, our IaC technology of choice.
• Participate in discussions related to architectural decisions from the DevOps perspective.
• Design and maintain policies and best practices around infrastructure management.
• Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving, or reconfiguration existing components.
• You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure and therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality is important.

What are we looking for?

• At least 3 years of experience working with GCP

• Solid knowledge and understanding of the core GCP products

• Familiarity with deploying and managing microservices developed in Java/Kotlin is an advantage

• Experience maintaining RESTful API endpoints is an advantage

• Hands-on experience and good understanding of Pulumi

• Experience writing Pulumi scripts in TypeScript is an advantage
